AROCA (NSW) Clubmanship Competition OBJECTIVE The Clubmanship Competition is to recognize members who have a high level of participation in, and contribution to the management and operation of, club events. POINT SCORING PERIOD The competition will normally run as an annual event with the point scoring period being the twelve months commencing on the first day of the month following the AGM. In the event that the period between AGM?s is not twelve months the committee will determine the point scoring period as it sees fit. CATEGORIES There are three categories of member for the purpose of the Clubmanship Competition. The categories are: Member An individual or family member who is 18 years of age or older at the end of the pointscoring period Novice. A Member as defined above and who is in the period up to and including the first full year of membership. Junior Member. A son or daughter of a Member who is at least four years of age at the end of the point scoring period and less than 18 years of age at the end of the point scoring period. Committee members are not eligible to compete in the Clubmanship Competition. This restriction applies because they are expected to attend, organize, and write about events in the course of their committee duties and they would therefore have a privileged advantage over the broader membership in the pointscore.
